Vision and Intent

At Immanuel, we are committed to encouraging all pupils to follow an active and healthy lifestyle. We aim to ensure that all children, no matter their age or ability, are catered for appropriately. Staff have a passion for inclusivity and do their upmost to ensure every child is involved. We believe skills learnt through sport, including competitive and team sports, instill qualities such as resilience and determination that support children to navigate their way through life.

Children are taught techniques and skills in as many as 12 different disciplines, including football, tag rugby, netball, tennis and swimming (KS2). Both the PE staff, and teachers at Immanuel find ways to continually keep children active, engaged and challenged throughout the academic year, through the use of various coaching techniques and fantastic sporting opportunities.
