Our most recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMs) took place on the 6th December 2019. We are delighted to be able to say that Immanuel and St Andrew has been graded as "Excellent" in all areas!
Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place in June 2015. We are extremely proud of Immanuel achievements of receiving ‘Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
"Behaviour is outstanding. Pupils demonstrate exemplary attitudes towards their learning. Their attendance is well above average."
"Teaching is outstanding overall. Teachers use detailed assessment information to plan learning activities that challenge all pupils to make at least good progress from their starting points. They give high-quality advice and feedback to help pupils understand how to improve further. Pupils say they enjoy learning because it is fun."
Key Findings from the SIAMs Inspection, 2019
ï‚· The vision of the school flows through every aspect of school life to the extent that pupils see their flourishing as the norm. The nurturing of the whole child is deliberate and enhances pupils’ lives beyond school.
ï‚· All adult groups work together in a relational manner, putting into practice the belief that Jesus is with them.
ï‚· Collective worship is the beating heart of the school. Not confined to a particular time or place, it is purposely drawn down and across daily life in the school.
ï‚· Religious Education (RE) as a core subject has been placed front and centre. The appointment of a Faith and Values Lead sets the culture in which care and support ensure quality first teaching
