How will the school contact you?

Dates for the diary

Key dates are shared at the beginning of a term and as new dates are added emails and letters will be sent where appropriate to keep parents/guardians up-to-date. Letters will be emailed to parents/guardians and text messages are sent as reminders. Some letters will be in book bags especially where consent is required.  We endeavour to give parents 2 weeks’ notice where at all possible before an event occurs or a cancellation. A yearly calendar will be published on the website.

Celebrating school events and news

We will be issuing a school newsletter fortnightly where school news about events and achievements will be shared with our school community. We also use twitter to share our good news.

Any concerns regarding behaviour or learning.

Depending on the concern either the class teacher, pastoral team member or senior leader will phone a parent to inform them of an incident or arrange a meeting to discuss any concerns. Parents/guardians will often be spoken to or contacted at the end of a school day where appropriate. Working parents/guardians will be contacted by phone.
